Voiceworks Winner of Deloitte Technology Fast50

Sustainable Grower Award goes to 2dehands.be - TTY. Brussels-based VOXBONE first Belgian company on 11th place.

Brussels, 14 October 2011 – The Dutch company Voiceworks was elected winner of the Deloitte Technology Fast50 for 2011, the election of the fastest growing technology companies in The Netherlands and Belgium. In the past five years the company scored a 2,768% increase in turnover. Second place went to drukwerkdeal.nl and third prize to YourSurprise.com. The Sustainable Grower Award was won by 2dehands.be - TTY. The first Belgian company in this ranking was VOXBONE from Brussels, on the 11th place, with a turnover growth of 1,403%.

The Technology Fast50 Award Ceremony took place in Rotterdam yesterday. During a gala dinner Voiceworks was crowned the fastest-growing technology company of The Netherlands and Belgium. Voiceworks provides telephone and data solutions for the business market based on a self-developed VoIP-platform. The company was established in 2005 and this year took part in the Technology Fast50 for the first time. "Growth is reached very specifically thanks to the continuous commitment of our staff and the loyalty of our affiliated partners many of whom have been working with us for over five years." says Koen van Geffen of Voiceworks.

The second prize went to the internet printshop drukwerkdeal.nl which obtained a growth percentage of 2,750%, followed by number three: the webshop for presents YourSurprise.com (2,681%). This year 6 Belgian companies contended for the Deloitte Technology Fast50 Award: Netlog (Massive Media - Ghent), BTR Services (Boom and Brussels), d2 (Digital Darwin -Wetteren), GeoDynamics (Courtrai), VOXBONE (Brussels) and CORETEC Engineering (Angleur). VOXBONE from Brussels obtained the highest score for a Belgian company with an 11th place and a turnover growth of 1,403% over the past five years. VOXBONE provides local, toll-free phone numbers as well as other VoIP-related communication technology. "We are very honoured to receive this prestigious award. The Sustainable Grower Award, i.e. the award for sustainable growth went this year to 2dehands.be - TTY. In 2006, the year in which TomTom ended first, 2dehands.be-TTY made its entry in the Fast50 with a seventh place. In 2007 they scored third place. During the next years they maintained a continuous growth and were listed in the Fast50 every year. This year the company arrived 23rd. "It is always nice to be a fast grower but as Sustainable Grower we show that this growth is structural. In the past 11 years our staff has consistently worked hard to achieve this. We have not only managed to become the largest website for wanted ads in Belgium but at the same time prove to be a healthy and solid company", adds Michiel van Deursen, Manager of 2dehands.be – TTY.
